Modani EstatesThe property has so much potential but the upkeep is SERIOUSLY LACKING. I was so disappointed when I walked in the door considering I paid just shy of $10k to rent the home. I wanted to give my guests a 5-Star Luxury experience but it was NOT luxury. It seems like a home college kids come to party but we're a group of business women who wanted a luxury getaway. We're super friendly people and easy-going but this place missed the bar in a big way. When I first walked in the door it looked like the home hadn't been cleaned in months - dirty floors & countertops, etc. The large sectional in the main area was HORRIBLE - should be thrown out asap - DISGUSTING! So many items were broken including sliding blinds, cracked bed frames, no light bulbs in lamps, no TV remote controls in bedrooms, ceiling fans not working, items broken and cracked, and grass not cut in months. I hate writing bad reviews but this was a huge disappointment! Clearly, no one inspects or takes care of the home.

Modani EstatesOverall we enjoyed the stay and the layout was nice. The kids loved the jacuzzi. It was a peaceful location. Mattresses were good, and pillows and bedding were decent. The local property manager Kathy helped us check-in early.. But I cannot honestly say I would ever stay here again. We had a few issues, the most egregious of which was no hot water in 2 showers. For a 4 day stay, it's rough to have 2 families unable to shower until day 2. I was so busy entertaining that I didn’t realize my brother (like me) had no hot water initially. The garbage disposal also wasn't working when we arrived, causing the dishwasher to leak. Similarly, the jacuzzi did not get warm until day 2. All problems were addressed, but one wouldn't expect something as basic as hot water to be functioning upon arrival in a "luxury rental". I shared feedback privately in an SMS and received no response, so I feel obligated to share publicly.

My vacation started off rocky when another unit cancelled last minute but that turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The home on southwest ranches far exceeded expectations. The photos are beautiful but they don’t do it justice. There is room for everyone. Spacious, cleanly, gorgeous comfortable. It’s hard to feel at home at most airbnbs but this place felt at home day one. Special shout out to Kathy who was responsive helpful and got us situated with an early check in and answered questions promptly and professionally. Do yourself a favor and skip out on that other place you’re considering and stay here.
